Jo.Co Program

Conscious Youth

Helping you develop the new generation of conscious young leaders.

Are you a business company who wants to empower your youth collaborators to become the new generation of leaders, able to drive your organisation to thrive in a conscious way?

Are you a non-profit organisation willing to invest in youth leadership skills necessary to address our shared global challenges?

Are you an institution or individual who wants to sponsor a fellowship to a young person willing to create a purposeful and meaningful life?

Collaborate with SERES and AMARNA Vida to help young people feel empowered in a way they can inspire and mobilise themselves and others towards creating purpose-driven organisations and communities, focusing on addressing economic, social, and environmental challenges, in an increasingly complex world.

The Jo.Co Program is a 10-month program that supports the development of a new generation of conscious young leaders.

The program is designed to develop the mindset, insights, skills, and network needed for young people to become leaders that are deeply connected with themselves, others, and the whole, being able to take conscious and courageous actions based on their purpose which involves creating a positive impact in the world.

Our intensive program brings together trainers, mentors, and facilitators to determine young change-makers to build conscious leadership skills.

Outputs

At the end of the program young leaders will:

  •  Develop a better understanding of their purpose, mission, and what they want to achieve in life, and the internal tools (their strengths) to achieve it.

  • Be able to take more assertive action towards their goals and know how to create an impact, efficiently and meaningfully, in their own lives, the lives of their communities, and even on humanity as a whole.

  • Develop a sense of interconnectedness and deep appreciation to the value of networks, due to the relationships established among each other, their mentors, their trainers, and facilitators.

Program Structure

The program lasts for 10 months and is divided into four main sections:

Online training

Young people will learn about the key ingredients that will support their capacity to consciously lead. They will be inspired to embrace a journey of personal discovery, where they are going to acknowledge their purpose, mission, values, and talents.

They are also going to learn the skills that are needed to be citizens that transform their own realities and those of their environment, such as emotional intelligence, understanding conflicts as opportunities, and assertive communication.

More than learning about conscious leadership, young people will have the opportunity to apply what they learn to authentic and meaningful activities.

Collaborative Projects

Young people will have the opportunity to learn leadership by doing leadership. By recognising that we are actors within an ecosystem, young people will have the opportunity for ‘real world’ application of skills, by creating projects that can be applied in their organisations and communities.

They will discover new approaches and frameworks in which they can develop their projects and the impact they wish to make. Also, they will have the opportunity to share their projects and receive feedback from their peers.

Mentoring

Young people will receive one-on-one mentorship, by a professional mentor who will provide them with inspiration, guidance, tools, as well as good questions to define their personal and professional life and will accompany them to establish concrete actions and goals.

At the end of the mentorship program, young people will have the confidence in their purpose, mission, and values that drive them and clarity on how to connect their purpose with the evolution they want to see in their organisations, communities, and in the world.

Bootcamp

Participants who successfully complete the first three sections of the program will be able to participate in the 4-day in-person Bootcamp where they will be able to strengthen more skills and deepen the relationships with their peers, trainers, and facilitators.

Program Content

Young people will have the opportunity to learn more about themselves, the world, and their role in it. They will dive deep into their identity, purpose, values, strengths, talents. They will acknowledge how they can have a positive and meaningful impact in their organisations, communities, and the world.

They will also develop a deeper understanding of concrete skills and behaviours that will make them conscious leaders, such as emotional intelligence skills.

Furthermore, they will also explore assertive communication skills, public speaking, asset-based community development, conducting root cause analysis, developing projects from scratch, and pitching their ideas.
